Mothers of the Forest

The Madagascan Grandidier Baobab, affectionately known as the Mother of the Forest, is the largest Boab tree in the world. Unfortunately, they are now an endangered species. Climate change is killing these 2000-year-old trees. Changing rainfall patterns in Africa are gravely affecting their survival.
